In a world that often feels a bit too sharp around the edges, we all need a place to land softly. For me, that place has always been art. But not just any art, but a specific kind of whimsical, round, and impossibly “puffy” world where every line feels like a hug.
If you’ve been following my journey, you know how much I value emotional healing, introspection, and finding joy in the small things. This is exactly how the Puffy Series was born. I wanted to create something more than just coloring books… I wanted to build a sanctuary of fluff.
Why “Puffy”? The Heart Behind the Series
Have you ever noticed how your heart instantly softens when you see something round, soft, and adorable? There’s actually a word for it in Japanese culture—kawaii—but to me, it’s simply the “Puffy Effect.”
I chose this series because I believe that adulting is hard, and sometimes, our inner child just needs to play with something that doesn’t demand anything from us. When I started sketching these characters, I thought about what makes us feel safe. Soft textures, big eyes, and gentle shapes. Each creature in these books is a friend I’ve “met” in my imagination, designed to help you breathe a little deeper while you pick up your colored pencils.
Meet the Puffy Family: Three Worlds of Enchantment
I wanted to make sure there was a “puffy” companion for every mood. Whether you’re feeling dreamy, nature-inspired, or even a little bit “spooky-cute,” there is a book for you.
1. Puffy Dreams: Where Clouds Come to Life
This was the first spark. Puffy Dreams is all about that ethereal, “floating on a cloud” feeling. It features 60 sketches of creatures that look like they were made of starlight and marshmallows. It’s my go-to recommendation for when the day has been long and you need a quiet, magical escape before bed.

2. Puffy Blooms: Nature’s Gentlest Side
There is something so healing about flowers. In Puffy Blooms, I combined my love for fluffy characters with the delicate beauty of nature. Imagine a tiny, fluffy dragon nesting in a peony, or a fluffy kitten-butterfly resting on a sunflower. It’s a celebration of growth and sweetness, perfect for those sunny afternoons on the balcony.

3. Puffy Nightmares: Because Even Monsters Need Love
This one is my personal favorite for when I’m feeling a bit “alternative.” Puffy Nightmares explores the “creepy-cute” aesthetic. These are monsters, yes—they have horns, multiple eyes, or little fangs—but they are so fluffy and endearing that you just want to give them a snack! It teaches us that even the “scary” parts of our imagination can be handled with kindness and color.

More Than Just Lines on Paper
When I designed these books, I didn’t just think about the drawings. I thought about you, the person holding the book. That’s why:
- Each sketch is on a single side: No need to worry about your markers bleeding through and ruining the next “friend.”
- Convenient 8.5 x 8.5 inch format: It’s the perfect size to carry in your bag, making it a portable piece of peace.
- For all ages: Whether you’re sharing this with your child or keeping it all to yourself as a mindfulness ritual, the joy is the same.
A Ritual of Self-Love
Coloring is a form of active meditation. As you choose the perfect shade of pastel pink or vibrant violet for a fluffy creature’s fur, the noise of the world starts to fade. You aren’t worrying about emails or chores; you are just there, in the moment, creating something beautiful.
I invite you to step into this fluffy universe with me. Let’s turn off the screens, put on some soft music, and bring these characters to life together.
